Copper River Reds on the Run - Call for Artists - Published on Sep 01, 2010
Now in its third year, the Copper River Reds on the Run program has produced 14 one of a kind art pieces, decorated the windows of Cordova businesses during the busy tourist season and has raised over $8,000 to support youth scholarship programs throughout the Copper River watershed. If you are interested in submitting a design for this year's program - download the submission packet and send us your design by our Nov. 15th deadline!

Chefs feature regional seafood during visit to Cordova - Published on Jul 20, 2010
Cordova will serve as home base as a group of chefs from the nationally acclaimed Oceanaire Seafood Room tour the region, visit with fishermen processors and managers, and learn about salmon and other seafood harvested from the Copper River and Prince William Sound region.

Safeway To Carry Copper River salmon - Published on Mar 15, 2009
Safeway has geared up to carry Copper River salmon in all of their full service stores across the nation. That amounts to 1,200 stores in 17 states that will profile Alaska’s premium sockeye and Chinook. The marketing association has sent out 1,200 posters and window clings to Safeway for distribution nationally. Safeway has also supplemented their order with 135 banners and posters for their Northwest area stores. Copper River King salmon were fetching up to $50 per pound at the retail level following this year’s first opener.
